Eddie. I never said they would change an ID card. They never do, under any circumstances. They issue a new one. The birth certificate is endorsed with the change. That I will agree , they never issue a new one, not even a duplicate if it is lost. If however you are implying my info is wrong then I will bow to your obviously more intimate knowledge as I only repeated what was told to me by amphoe (The people that issue the ID cards) and by a lady herself that had gone through the process. Perhaps you could enlighten us with your source.

if they changed any details on an Id card a new one would be issued and not crossed out with ink on the original one...so do they or don't they..?

So no duplicate Birth certs either...? so would that mean you are f****** if you lost it, which i am sure lots do....100% sure no replacemants..?

That's why I keep calling them 'chaps in dresses', just to place some perspective on the genre. If you're a Turkish gentleman bar fining a lady boy - you're still having a physical relationship with another man, possibly a former welder or car mechanic (there's not enough scrubbing to get that engine oil from under your nails, sweetie). But hey, they probably know that already.

Thats my point....you can change all you want....but they where still born a male...their DNA is male DNA....and no change of the birth cert...so there you have it.

Latex gloves would solve the oily nails/hands Wetweekend....plus a quality hand creme to keep the skin soft and youthful.

Yes BM. 100% sure. If you need a replacement for your birth cert, say for example to get a passport. You have to go to the village headman , who hopefully will remember you arriving, or can be persuaded to remember. Take him to Amphoe and he will swear an affadivit that he was there and remembers the occassion. You will then be issued a doc stating the date and time of birth which suffices for most, but still causes problems with some foreign embassies when wanting a visa.It is not a duplicate of the original. So make sure you keep the original safe.
