In many countrys outside the Lao PDR (like the Us) officials still refering to the Lao nationality act 1994.
Since the family law together with the Nationality law was esteblished it went unnoticed that since 2004 the lao nationality act has been renewed.
Important in case of marriage.........GF relationships with Lao citizens.
People should take notice on the fact that the Law in Laos in contrast with Thailand is strictly enforced.

The Lao PDR is changing rapidly do to comply with international standard of law and legalization.
I am married with a Lao.
NO problems at all IF one sticks to (their) the rule of law.
