Laptop batteries in Udon

PostAuthor: Thai_1_On » December 19, 2007, 11:04 am

I will be in Udon sometime between Jan. 08 and Feb.08 (waiting for the parrot to wad through the red tape) so in the meantime I was wondering if I should wait and buy an extra battery for my Compaq R3000 in Udon or here in the states?

I reckon you would be better off getting one in the states, going on the price of laptop bits and pieces I have been quoted for in Thailand.

I'm sure, although not positive , it would be a cheaper option.

just a thought, how would you know if it was a genuine new battery or a copy....but never looked at them so maybe only genuine ones are available, or would it make no differance..?

http://search.ebay.com/Compaq-R3000-bat ... QQfromZR40

I am sure a store here will want 3000 to 7000 for a battery, I was quoted 1/2 the price of a used laptop for a battery one time in BKK
