Are you looking for a criminal lawyer or a civil one?

Depending on the reply to Trubrit's question above, I cannot be specific, but here's a couple of previous recommendations that have been made:

If you definately need someone nearer to town, then I would recommend Roger Ullmann, he is based on the ring road very near to Tesco Lotus, his number is: 086 688 2950.

Thanks guys, civil is what I am after, I have tried seb at isaan as BB said, he can make trips upto udon and is busy
I will give the guy on the ring road a shout thanks BB and will check out the others. thanks for the start.

Theres a guy has a law office two doors down from City lodge (towards the night market) called Khun Sittichai,
his number is 086 223 4725
He speaks perfect English and I can recommend him.

personally I would reccomend Theerawat, he has looked after me for many things over the past 4-5 years honest is his byword and his advice is sound.
he may not speak much english but he has contacts who are also very shrewd.

i can recommend him too, we've used him on a number of occasions.
