I woke up this morning and came to work, normal - stuff birds singing, sun shining etc. I log onto my pc and take a look at my new favourite web site - Udonmap.
Ok well I suppose technically I am breaking parts of my employment contract by doing this but as they are cancelling this contract completely at year end I figure 'so what'. Anyway this is where things start to become strange for me. I discover that whilst I have been asleep someone has converted Udonmap into a medical forum. I don't have an issue with this it was just I can't remember anyone telling me......OH, maybe I should read that piece on Alzheimer's again...

yes, discovered the same thing. what's really great is everyone ignored the spammer, way too cool.

ignoring does work best, or just a spam sign like paul put up. i of course had to have a small rant. but it's out of my system now.

admin got right on them and censored the links. y'd think he'd give up, but made a return with same links, different ID, gee, not too obvious.

Hi LA, I haven't noticed the new links but as soon as I do I will ban this user and delete the posts. We've been pretty lucky so far to avoid spam so I don't want this user messing things up for us all.

Papia 59.177.4.228 druv 202.159.205.196 same member but just different ip's. The spamer opened two accounts with different email addresses but the same name. both usernames gave reference to the same website so obvious spamming and obviously the same person.

Papia/druv you've been busted and your account has been de-activated.

BB it would be great to send them a mail bomb, I don't know what it is but it sounds like a good idea.

Consider it done, it's nothing too serious, just automatically signs them up for a few thousand email mailing lists, a taste of their own medicine
