life's a beach

PostAuthor: old-timer » March 7, 2009, 6:43 pm

was on the beach at nong khai today, superb day out - anyway - i asked the people that i was with
and who's kids were having fun in the river, if a tsunami came down from up river would they go
and collect their kids out of the river and then make a dash to the higher levels of the bank, or
would they say b0llocks to that and go directly to the bank, apart from one they all said go directly
to the bank - and then the odd one out changed her mind, together with me.

went to the costa del mekong again today, i noticed that they were putting mats out on the area outside the sheltered bit leading down to the waters edge plus a few tables and chairs - does anyone know what goes on there in the evening, same as the daytime just darker, is it? - i was thinking of giving it a try if they had a bit of music playing or something like that. it's about time someone thought of a full moon party on mekong beach, i'm sure all the samui lot would turn up \:D/
