Is there any quiet and romantic pub here in Udon? I fear of loud music. I like a neat and romantic place where we can talk and drink in peace for nightlife.

Bung Mai Hom is an outdoor, but well-covered restaurant on the Ring Road that will meet or exceed your expectations. It is neat, romantic and has some great live music where you can relax and talk. It's one of my favorite places.

My favourite is the cocktail lounge downstairs in the Chareonsri Grand hotel.Generally a pianist, a couple of ballad singers, nice comfortable settees, dim lights and not too expensive drinks served by very attractive hostesses.

it's in the ground floor of he hotel? I mean not the bella pizza, right? I'd go.

On the road to Kohn kehn I believe it is 2 soi's past Hi Tech before Full moon Pub on the left. Place called Balsa. Go up the soi about 100 meters it's on your left side. Live band playing western and Thai soft music not loud excellent food parking available. There is a sign on the corner before you turn into the soi.

Mocha Restaurent - was there last night and gr8 food and music, GF actually said its nice, as we can speak and communicate without shouting etc....

Go up the Soi that Mistubishu Motors is on the corner, ( Prosi road )

go up 500 m, till u get to a T insection, and turn right, proceed along 50 meters and Mocha on the right side.

Sometimes its better to get a noisy place so you don't have to speak to the Mrs....

The eye candy here is stunning also, Lucky the Gf has a weak bladder eh ??

Ahhhh the old weak bladder...what is it with Thai girlies and their bladders..?? comes in handy at times though, but not when doing a road trip..

Maybe its caused by their Expat BF's ????

I know the place, actually there are a few restaurant/bars around that area worth checking out.

We had 4 meals, rice, mixers and 2 large San Miguels and check Bin was 470 baht !!

Amazing Thailand

Bung Mai Hom sounds like a nice place, will have to give that a try on my next visit.
Nice to have some relaxing music for a change
