Sgt, maybe your wife has been there already but Aek Udon has three gynecologists on their staff. My wife goes there for her annual mammogram, pap smear, etc. and her doctor is a female who happens to speak English. Not sure which doctor she sees but all it would take is a phone call to find out.

Here's a link for the hospital:

My wife called AEK Udon last week about her annual PAP smear and was informed that the female gynecologist is no longer there. Now, she's going to go to a clinic run by a female gynecologist. She says she's too shy to go to a male.

Thanks polehawk, for the info on AEK. I will talk to her about AEK, also, UdonExpat, let us know how your wife likes the new clinic.

The wife goes back to Khon Kaen doc this week. The new meds seemed to be helping until she got up and cooked and cleaned etc. for family, who don't seem to understand that she can't do that, same thing happened after D&C and she ended up back in hospital. She was back at our house over the weekend and seemed to be better last night your time (morning mine). Now back at family and who knows. I hate to think what will happen if she has to have hysterectomy with only family to take care of her, I can't stay for the recovery period. Her grandparents are 86 years old (love 'em) and not really able to do everything for themselves, but her mother (battle-axe) is more than able.

Thanks again for the info and concern, I'll find out more about this doc in Khon Kaen and pass on, good or bad.

Last month, I had my sickness (UTI) been cured within 8 days by AEK Udon Int'l Hospital. A treatment of such case have to Q for 3 months time in Singapore public hospital. The cost of both hospitals are about the same. Utmost important is the efficiency of AEK Hospital give me a new lease of life.
