There is a French restaurant called the Factory, i forgot the name of the street but you can find it on the Udonmap.

There are quite a large number of French residents around Udon, as well as a few businessmen in town.
I once went to a function at Le Camerone (in its' old location) & it had to be attended by 20 or so French guys local to Udon.
As others have suggested go into Pla & Jerome's bar, or Le Camerone and you will soon get the low down on most French people in the Province

For the other : I am not in Udon, but 87 miles away in NE. But i stay often there. If i can help you...........
