For lovers of the king of fruits the Nong Wau Sor Mango Fair is taking place from this Sunday 1st March until 4th in the grounds of Amphoe which is located at Nong Wai. Turn left off the Udon -Nong Bua Lampho at the traffic lights in Nong Wau Sor. About 15k on you will see amphoe and police station on your right.Plenty of parking in the grounds. Amomg the other attractions are a beer tent, massage and side shows Along with many trade stalls especially the plant nurseries selling young fruit trees . Of course lots and lots of mangoes. Sour ones , sweet ones and in between.
Open from 10am till dark.It looks as though mangoes will be a little dearer this year than last. I think early ones about 50bht a kilo.Maybe see some of you there.
