Master Cabinet Maker

PostAuthor: FrazeeDK » July 7, 2007, 8:59 pm

I'm in the end process of building a house and have an excellent cabinet maker building on-site and putting in the kitchen cabinets. I was stunned to see a master craftsman with all the right tools, a lockable tool cabinet, and better yet building the cabinets from wood he brought to the site.

Mr. Somchai Inteedt HandPhone 089-575-2586. he speaks NO English..
Reasonable rates, has a complete set of tools to include router, table saw, electric hand tools, pneumatic nail gun, et al. Here's two shots of the cabinets he constructed and installed.. They are not stained or finished yet.[/img]

More next week when the granite countertops are installed and he's done all the under counter cabinets..

this guy made it look easy.! He had all the lumber stacked in the corner and proceeded to build to plan after consulting with my wife.. roughed everything in, then started to trick it all out with veneer, quarter and half round.. the wife walked in after he hung the doors and asked coud he redo one door in each cabinet with the venting.. He smiled and got cracking ripping the venting out, notching the door and putting it to final fit in half-a-day..

The house is in Udon.. The cabinet maker lives in Udon.. On the ELEKTRIK, he just plugged into what the contractor had put in for temp use.. I'm sure all are aware that Thai contractors are not what anybody could call safety conscious when it comes to running homemade electrical wiring or doing site cleanup anywhere. The good side is that the actual electrical in the house is to U.S. specs, all 12 gauge or better in conduit, 3 wire grounded with a 6 gauge copper main feed from the meter, and running through a Square D fault protection breaker panel.. They finally finished wiring it and turned up the commercial power the same afternoon I took the pictures..

FrazeeDK,
Many thanks for posting this, Would have thought it would be a good idea for UdonMapto have a sticky on all recommended tradesmen and services in the area.
I had them all on tap in BKK, now I am lost getting things done in Udon.
