I think it's Day's Nice to start and then maybe somewhere else later on.

I've been away for the past 4 days so I'm currently reading up what I've missed.

Do most members bring their family members or is it mostly just us members?

Wish I could be there for August 5th meeting -- it's my birthday!!

Raise a toast to the blonde falang on her 53rd -- I'm just trying to stay young at heart, healthy, and in love with the man I waited a lifetime to marry.

Usually from 8.00pm on.

I understand the plan is to sit at the bar, rather than at the (dining) tables, so that it is easy to chat and circulate. :)

hey Stan, see you there. i always bring my partner, when having one, as does val, if he shows, very possible. so she'll have someone to chat with. for those not sure, days nice is a stone's throw heading toward train station from karin hotel, well lit on left, hard to miss if looking. i might get there a bit early, depending on stomach, maybe 730 ish, want to test out the food. meetings usually start 800-830 ish. at least couple hrs at 1st stop, then those who wish to, journey to another, and so on.

Hello, all --

Hope your August meeting was smashing (well, maybe not literally).

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely birthday dinner with my dad, grateful for his recuperation, on the Gulf Coast -- seafood gumbo, stuffed flounder, crabmeat au gratin, bay scallops, shrimp, etc. etc.

Time to reason with hurricane season again -- by the way, I was in New Orleans and it still looks like s**t.

Your government dollars at work (or not).

Happy 53rd, and many more!

That's certainly the truth in New Orleans -- city, state or federal! As corrupt as Thailand is thought to be, I think they could take lessons from Louisiana.
