Ray...there was a time when I also did the marriage Visa but, had to wait sometimes up to 3 months to get it...when I showed up to get the Visa stamp..the guy would check the " big " book and say ! still in BKK. The Immigration officer said why I not do the retirement Visa..said easy..get Visa sameday ! Well ! I did ..after that...as long as I had all my " ducks " in row..Visa issued on the spot. This past June when I renewed it...took only about 10 minutes..in and out..not a problem..its been like this now for the last 3 years and hope it continues.
