MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)

PostAuthor: laphanphon » February 13, 2007, 10:11 am

Want to get some Mri work done. It's my understanding that the one at military hospital is old and resolution, well, sucks. I believe there is another in town, but not sure. Paolo and Aek Udon seem to refer you to out of town, which is no problem. Is anyone familiar with the ones they use, i think Aek uses their bkk affiliate and Paolo or maybe Aek Udon also uses a hospital in Khon Kaen, either Khon Kaen Ram, whick gets nice reviews from Kk forum and Srinakarind Hosp. also one of the two people recommend down there.

Any help appreciated and thank you in advance.

AND, anyone had hemmorroids removed in Udon, have kept them under control with herbal medicine, but am losing the battle, time to come out. Any recommendations there would be helpful. one dr at udon hosp said he could take out no problem, but he looks about 22 yrs old.

There is an excellent clinic in Nong Khai run by a surgeon specialising in haemeroids etc who sorted out my problem without surgery when others said i needed surgery. He is a surgeon if you want to go that route.Maybe Stan knows who i mean,it's on the river front road.Lost the address, sorry. Will ask the wife.

You know off hand I don't really remember but it wasn't for very long. The other thing was I was very comfortable sometimes they are very small and I feel like I'm being shoved into something I don't recall that in this case. But that was 18 months ago, so I'm working on memory.

What was the cost for the MRI and did they let you keep it?

About 4 years ago I had an MRI in the military hospital in Korat.
At that time they were the only one that had new machines.
The US military paid for the machines!!!!
I still have the pictures.
I paid 10.000 bath (bill is still with the pictures)
