Could not find a place to introduce myself and meet friends.

Am American, 64 yo, retired Military, VN vet - corpsman Air Force air evac 65-66, Qui Nhon got out,got a degree and went back in as medical officer. Retired from Univ of Calif. and in a few will retire from Mercy hospital system in Sacramento. Am originally from Chicago area.
Married to Thai 25 years ago. We have family/friends all over Thailand, but she is from there. Am raising 3 grandkids and one is there in boarding school.
Will be over in a week or so for a very short trip but plan on part time retirement there in a few years years.

Would like to meet similar others for family trips, fishing, whatever. Did too many years of the bar scene when younger, not interested now. Would rather be involved with families and community helping activities.

Too bad we missed meeting each other this year -- my husband was also enlisted, then officer (Army), posted at Ramasun Station in 72-73 and married his first (Thai) wife there. We visited Udon in November, and his son is there now. We too are looking at semi-retirement in Thailand in a few years.
