New Venue opening

PostAuthor: PopsIcafe » July 13, 2008, 6:08 pm

For those who care to know, there is a new place opening up across from Pop Pop's Net and Games. The place is called S-M-L-XL, and will be serving drinks, and (not sure) beer (what brands I don't know.) The will be playing music, and will have a big screen tv there also. For those who are looking for something different, this might be the place. I will be there tomorrow, and the grand opening of sorts is from 14-20 of this month ( starting tomorrow, Monday). See who ever is there and will let you all know if worth going, that's an update of the place for you LA.

That's good news.
Just a stroll for me.
Is it located where the coach drivers drop the punters off for food and drink?
Looking forward to the report.

OOOOH! Might just have to take a Gander at that!.....But being a CC. ;) I might just have to park outside your shop, buy you a beer or two and view from afar

P.S. Cliff .... No matter how hard you try, you'll never be a "Hells Angel" on that moped of yours ... even if you do, do assault tactics on LA's house =D>

S-M-L-XL is an open air with beer and mix drinks. They have music playing but will have big screen tv soon. The place is located next to the drive in entrance to Rabiang Patchanee Restaurant.

This is going to be really interesting as far as the parking is concerned. When the restaurant gets really busy, it's hard for them to find parking spaces. The first place the customers of the restaurant park will be in front of the new venue. Just wondering if they will do the same as the other venders do and place something in front of their place so no one can park except their customers.

if taking a clue from FC TALK, over by night market, has 3 spots infront of shop and guard outfront to assist and direct. hate the idea of reserved public street parking, but if i was in the position, i'd do the same.

may have to stop in for munch, also, will need directions to chicken/som tam/khal nao shop around the corner, princess visits, as old shop chickens are getting smaller and more expensive, and som tam incosistant.

Ok all, just went over to have alittle chat with them. They seem to pretty nice people, and I even got prices of the beer there. They will have food, don't expect a big plate full and I didn't see a menu but the refer had some food in it.

Now for the prices of the beer, SORRY NO TIGER as of yet, but think they could be talked into it. They open at 6pm to midnight. Remember this is open air so rain will have an effect on it's opening time.

Singha-lg and Heiney-lg 80 baht, Leo-lag 60 baht, Spy 20 baht. I didn't see any mix for mix drinks and forgot ask about it. They seem to relatively new as this. I do plan on being there for a couple brews tonight, around about 6:30 pm.

OMG, was nice, sat a chatted with some of the Thais there. I Checked my posts to this thread and found I failed to mention the buy 2 get 1 free. Sorry about that, but got 2 Leo's for 60 baht each and the 3rd was free. Lets see, 120 for 3 Leo's and a bucket of ice for 20 baht, 140 baht total, average of 47 baht per Leo, including ice!!!!! CYA!!!!

A little price change here also, Heiney is 90 baht, Singha 70 baht, Leo 60 baht. They had mixed drinks, menu with the prices. Was really enjoyable, music was set at a really nice audible level. Service was good also.

FYI....is happening from now till through the 20th.
