NEWSPAPERS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES

PostAuthor: pienmash » April 29, 2009, 10:27 pm

As a few people know im opening chern chim food store in the very near future and im posting to see the interest in a potential market for foriegn newspapers.. i have the contacts in place to bring English(SUN, NEWS OF THE WORLD,DAILY MAIL)Dutch,French and Australian newspapers to udon ,, depending on the time difference some are 1,2 or even 3 days old but will be available everyday from chern chim store with delivery service to central udon businesses/customers and stands will be set up in various locations . so if anyone has any thoughts on this would be pleased to hear them. i will be obligated to purchase a set amount daily from the supplier so hence this test the water post. AS EVER I KNOW ITS DOWN TO HOW MUCH as of now i think they will go out at 90 bt per paper but thats not set in stone.. thanks in advance . jon

The internet does all the news you need, but I sundays paper gives a round up of the weeks news, The Sunday Mail, but not to many ozzie from QLD here to justify a few sales

The Izzie mail does service the map pretty well

I'd agree with above, I think you'd be wasting your time and money. News a couple of days old isn't worth reading, plus you can get most if not all the newspapers you need online.

Hi Jon,
I also agree that your wasting your time and money.
The online versions have seen off the printed versions now. You can access all the news and features free.
What we need in Udon is some where we can buy the Bangkok Post and the Nation.
Where I'm located in Bannon Road there is nowhere that sells the English language Thai newspapers.
I have to drive down to Central Plaza (Robinsons Mall) to buy a paper.
