i'm the 23rd, though that will be for renewal, so i usually go a week ahead, give me time to rectify anything if a problem occurs. timing will depend on bank statement being ready, so last minute notice for me to meet. but hey, bbq chicken, som tam, khao neow, tiger beers and a group hug on riverwalk, i'm getting warm all over............ ............. or is someone pissing down my back

i think Rito is also in our cycle............ :D :D 8)

No my 90 day is next month on the 30th, but I'll be happy to join you all for sh'its & giggles.

For anyone interested I'll be heading up to Immigration on 30 Dec if anyone needs a lift or drop off. I'll post it again in a couple of weeks as a reminder.

My turn jumping thru the hoops, no problem w/retirement visa, with exception of time to process. Early afternoon, 1 person ahead of me, less than 10 min wait, then over 30 minutes to process me. Sadly, mr happy did NOT do mine, i wish he would of, say what you want, I LIKE HIM. He is fast, efficient, and knows his numbers, and, how to work a calculator, without asking 4 completely irrelevant question, and talking to every person who comes to the tables while i’m there. Then before signing my final paperwork, leave the office for 20 minutes. I’ll take 5 mr happys anyday. He was the only one smiling, the rest must of had a really bad day. Besides time, no problem, all paperwork in order. No additional copies needed that i didn’t already have, and only 2nd time in 8 yrs, not asked for med certificate. retirement visa still 1900, someone asked on another thread.

Final note, if not arriving by air into Thailand, nong khai, per new rules will only issue a 7 day extension. Advised person hoping for 30 more days to go to laos, and then he will get 15 more when returning. Bummer.

A real bummer, damn Bailey’s up to 650 baht for 750 ml bottle. Used to be 480 for liter bottle, inflation, so sad. Do shop around, as it was up to 750 in one shop.
