I plan to spend a week in Nong Khai relaxing and doing some online coursework. I am taking two internet courses to get a masters in teaching. One of the courses is on multimedia design and requires a reasonable internet connection. I can connect anywhere in Thailand with my smartphone and EDGE through True move, but this is a bit slow for my multimedia class. Is there a hotel / resort on the river with a DSL connection and wifi? I don't want to stay in town, I would rather just come into town to eat. Riverside would be great, but anywhere outside town would be fine (ricefield view?). Any good recommendation for about 800 - 900 a night?
