padding of advertised prices on established homes

PostAuthor: trekkertony » January 15, 2008, 6:09 pm

Hi all,

I will be in Udon Thani in the early part of February with the view to looking at available residential real estate. Can anyone advise the following,
Are the prices advertised on the net inflated towards westerners?
If so what percentage reduction should we be able to expect?
Are there any particular areas that hold their value better than others?
Are any of these areas near a golf course or the horse racing tracks?

Any information that members can assist with would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Q: Are the prices advertised on the net inflated towards westerners?
A: ot especially; they are inflated for everybody.

Q: If so what percentage reduction should we be able to expect?
A: None, unless you are an excellent negotiator.

Q: re there any particular areas that hold their value better than others?
A: I don't know. Probably those places that don't flood in the coming years.

Q: Are any of these areas near a golf course or the horse racing tracks?
A: I don't know.
