Has anyone else applying for an extension of "O" visa ,based on marriage, ever had all the paper work sent to Bkk,via Nong kai ? And had there passport stamped "under consideration",and told to come back in a month ?

It seems to me ,from discussions with others that are on the marriage visa, that this is the common practice since marriage visas have to be approved in BK!

Maybe he has Multiple Sclerosis.
A friend gets his paperwork stamped at NK for marriage, not sent to Bangkok, but maybe because he is old enough for a retirement visa and should be on that! He has been here ages though.

A friend of mine who lives in Bangkok has had to go back a month after applying to extend his married person's visa two times so far. He deals directly with the Bangkok office. It sounds like this is a very "normal" way of doing things. And they might have good reasons for doing it this way.

 Probably suffers from most of his wordly assets ''Parkinsoned''in Thailand!

Seriously,it is a mentally anguishing experience to have minions, like these NK Immigration officers, having so much control over your life! But,some people have a breakdown from details that are,at the most, presently just a inconvenience!

There are several options to all of them because TiT
