There are a few more bars around town other than the IC, are you touting business for them btw or this is some sort of free advertising.

. I don't go for a drink just to 'go for a drink'. The drinking in my instance is a secondary action and often ends up being a soda rather than a beer or mixer. I go for the camaraderie or because there is a function to which I've been invited or have an interest in. Going out to 'have a drink' is, in my opinion, just a waste of time and money. If I NEED to have a drink, then there is something else that's akimbo. I have wine in the 'frige as well as a beer (the beer has been there for several months now) and liquor in the cabinet but, with the exception of the wine, this is just in case friends drop over and I need to have something to offer. When I was single I used to go out and often ended up having a drink but that wasn't the reason for 'going out'. It was more to seek 'partnership' and that meant looking in the local bars/pubs. As for the survey, there's not a place listed that I haven't been to but I didn't go there for a drink. Mostly I went there because I was curious and may or may not have had a drink.
