Wonder why they are described as 'Garden Brooms'....lets face it you can-not sweep the Garden with one, ideal for hard surfaces, like concrete,Tarmac,Wood floor etc...but would be hard to push around the garden IE: grass lawn, flower beds etc.. a Garden Rake will do the trick much better on grass and soil beds.

I shall have to get fitted for spectacles, I thought the heading was a "proper Gordon Brown".

MR Vark

A multi surface pushing forward outdoor broom, so as not to be confused with the backhanded outdoor bamboo broom,

Nope. But if you find one, buy one for me too! I've been keeping my eyes open for something like that for years.

Better idea - don't do the sweeping up, get someone else to do it using their own tools and give them 20 baht each time.
Also please remember - you do not have a work permit so you can't do it anyway, that's what I tell my mrs......... \:D/

Anybody know where to buy one of these beauties in Udon?

I think they're called lawn edgers, used for trimming overgrowth along driveways and sidewalks.
