I am out in the boonies I have two connection one is cat (novatel) usb modem and the other is cat telephone modem well the USB modem is giving me between 1000 to 1400 KPBS as for the telephone modem it about 3 times faster than a dial up you decide they are not cheap the USB modem cost me 8200 for the modem plus 900 for antenna plus 600 for a little wire to plug in to the USB modem total cost
was 9700 baht and as for the cat phone that was 3200 baht plus another 900 for the antenna. I would have network them but there is no way I can see just yet unless you can find a network hub that use USB In
instead of standard connectors but I will search to find out OH one is little over 700 a month for unlimited service and the other is little over 500 a month unlimited service it is 1000 times better than IP/STAR
and cheaper I know because I kick them out in 3 days after I had TOT hook me up and I got my deposit back I told them no deposit I keep modem they gave me my deposit back with a smile I do business
