Has anyone any experience with wireless home alarms?

I've seen a setup with a main unit, 10 door/window breaker detectors, 3 motion detectors, a siren, smoke alarm, voice activator to preset numbers and 2 remote control units for a little over US$100

Sounds a good deal - if - they're any good. They claim the range to be 100ft internal... Manufacturer, X 10, personally I've never heard of them
