You didn't upset any of them did you westers

must not of, he's still alive

actually, my comment of 'AA' was coming from a different direction, as growing up in a mixed w/b neighborhood, when there was no PC in our vocabulary, and we freely used the term you are probably thinking of, i'm guessing anyway. but when sitting in jail one morning and asked where i got my 'prescription' filled, i failed to answer coheriantly, or spell that, then the brain dead cop asked what was his girlfriends' name, and smartarse that i am, said 'i don't know, they all call their women, mama', so it wasn't actualy a racial slur, but an abstract, conforming ignorance slur to please the bigotted cop. as anyone from that neighborhood was a good friend and i would fight back to back with them anyday against anyone, and have with great pleasure.

i may never agree with people, but i will fight for their right to express themselves non violently. even if that means resorting to violence. and i still use that term, freely, still PC is absent from my vocabuluary. as is my spelling skills. :fryingpan:

No Silly, he was a Johnny Cash Tribute act, he looked like the Man in Black (not Darth Vader) but wasn't. The point was that he didn't know San Quentin which gave me an opening to take the p*ss and which he didn't appreciate. This was 2004 so the great man might well have passed away by then.

How about you, BM, would you consider sponsoring a Gik or Mia Noi if you lived Thai side?

Or would it worry you that you may be subject to frenzied attack on your wedding tackle from Mrs. BM?

careful what you're doing with that carving knife, missus!

quack, quack

Well since my wife opened her hairdressing salon she is reluctant to go anywhere," in case someone comes in" So that has meant I either stay at home or go out alone, so I mentioned the possibility of getting a 'Gik" just for friendship to accompany me on occasional forays in the countryside or to town. She didn't seem too disturbed at this and even offered to help me recruit one, but insists when I go out that I leave the credit card at home and account for every baht I spend.Guess she's got her priorities right.

No, I didn't add the word 'tribute', it was in the original text. But what a great story that would have been if the real Johnny Cash was playing and he couldn't remember San Quentin and wee Westers started taking the p*ss out of him!

Now, back to Giks. Yes, she is testing you. Test the sharpness of the knives she keeps in the top drawer in the kitchen, they ain't for cutting the duck's throat...

She'd recruit something resembling a Kangorillapig just so you wouldn't get any ideas while on your countryside excursions.
