Superb individual character

PostAuthor: BKKSTAN » February 10, 2007, 6:17 pm

This is one of those things about a person that should be expressed!

Even though I had seen jetdoc around a couple of times and even had ''a meeting of falangs ''with him at the mall,I really got to socialize with him for the first time at the last forum get together in the Night Market!

Anyway, in the conversation during the evening,he asked if I knew how to contact the fellow by the bridge that sells the falang imported foods!
I didn't ,except I ocassinally go there!

He proceeded to tell me that he shopped there a week or so earlier and when he got home,he found that he wasn't charged for a large ball of Edam cheese that he thought was about 1000 baht!

He asked me if he gave me the 1000 baht, would I give it to the shop owner!

Today,I gave it to the man and he was very grateful and surprised! He didn't realize that he had not charged for the cheese.

The price was 888 baht and he would not keep the change which was jetdoc's wish!Wanted jetdoc to know that he appreciated his honesty and integrity! The next time he comes shopping, the beer is on Jim!

You are definitely my kinda guy jetdoc,I salute your honesty and integrity also!

yes but you could also use it as a bowling ball too, so in effect it is a reasonable price, play a little bowling with your own personal ball, then have a snack after add some nice biscuits and some grapes and a ice cold glass of beer... perfect.

let us not forget that saying "do good, get good" something like that. Jetdoc in the course of the evening dropped his wallet. the gal next to carrot seafood stall, Ree's sister's husband brother's wife, or something like that gave it to me, big mistake. first thing i did was rummage thru it looking for money, found quite a few thousand bahts, which me and cliff split up between us, much to the amazement of the lass who gave us the wallet, of course settng the money aside but not in wallet. then setting wallet on chair. which he didn't see and had to be pointed out to him. 'oh yea, that's mine, and puts in pocket', yo, you going to check it, make sure everything there, any money? checks, it's his, no money, says there was but not now, doesn't bat an eye puts it in pocket and continues conversation. of course we return 'most' of the money, and he has to force the young lady to take a tip. the man has character, that's for sure.

Just got access to the board a little while ago. It sounds like Stan must have spoken with my mother at some time;o) (may she RIP) she always spoke kindly of me. Possibly LA's comment is a typo (the man has character) he may have ment IS A!!
