As part of their Rocket Festival festivities, the Municipality of Ban That (Phen District, Udon Thani) would like 10 foreign/Thai couples to participate in a fashion show that is a part of their program for the beauty pageant on the evening of Wednesday 6 May. They would like to add some variety and fun to their program and have foreigners participate. Couples are asked to dress in Thai style clothing such as "pa mee keet" or silk. No speaking is required. There is no fee neither is there a prize. There will be some souvenir or memorabilia given to participants.
This sounds like a fun event that will enhance foreign/Thai relations and give foreigners a chance to meet each other. Is this request a throwback from the social evening at Phen Police Station on the evening of the 24 th.

I had a few beers in Ban That tonight with Malcolm in his bar & we discused about alerting the Udonmap members to the Rocket festival which i will update nearer the time.

How can one find Malc's bar in Ban That .... I didn't know there was a farang bar there.
