Try the electrical shop (sorry I don't know its name), that sells second hand electrical goods & electrical components on ground floor of the Big C complex, at the far end.
Pretty limited (to none) English spoken :D
The repair area is the customer service area inside the shop, by all the electrical components they sell.

The shop Bob is saying about is called "Adorn" I think. But unfortunatly I got ripped off there some time ago.
My printer stopped working(No power)I took it to them and cost 600 baht to repair. After a week same thing happened.I checked the adapter, which they replaced (Just plugs in)...It was faulty.
rather go back to them, I went to shop where I bought it (upstairs at the complex) bought a new adapter cost 50 baht.....550 baht to plug in new adapter :yikes:

So...your mileage may vary.

In all fairness, it is not certain that the cause of failure was the same both times.

I think there, is a conspiracy.I mean who is in charge? But I must say the shop itself, is full of goodies.I often go there just to browse. So interesting gadgets!

There is an electrical repair shop on Posri Road just up from AEK Udon and on the same side heading for BOSS studio/Mitsubishi junction. No idea of pricing as never actually used it.

How old is the TV? With today's prices it's almost cheaper to buy a new one.And you won't be getting ripped off.

Had very old 20" TV and the colors went all green, put it in truck and had the wife check at local small shop on how much to fix. Called to say 300 baht, said go ahead and leave. Couple of days later she picked it up, and the picture was like new. Its now over 6 months later, and still working fine. This was a shop in Ban Leum, just outside west ring road. But whatever shop you go to, ask for an estimate.
