Ten killed, 30 injured in bus accident in Thailand
BANGKOK (AP) - A bus hit a motorcycle on a highway in northeastern Thailand, killing 10 passengers, including a Swedish man and a 7-year-old Thai girl, police said Sunday.
Thirty other people were injured.
The accident occurred Saturday night in Udon Thani province and killed four women, five men and a girl, said police Capt. Prakong Maiyapan.
The motorcycle driver was among the people injured.
The Bangkok-bound bus crashed in Udon Thani's Kumpawapi district, 450 kilometers (280 miles) northeast of Bangkok, he said.
