Thai ISP's

PostAuthor: Sean » June 25, 2009, 10:55 pm

What is it with the internet service providers in Thailand, twice now this week, I have been inconvenienced (for longer than usual lengths of time) with 'payment not received' messages popping up on my screen and the total inability to actually view anything on the internet.

I really wouldn't mind, but the bills are being paid promptly, and well before the designated 'due' date.

Please vote in the poll for the method you use to connect to the internet in Nong Khai.

I dunno but I been having trouble with TTT Maxnet. Bad connections, very variable, no port forwarding, etc. The manager is very nice and speaks English and always sics (sic) his "changs" on the problem - sometimes they even drop by to say hi, and life goes on as usual.

Which provider do folks recommend here? Although I'm not sure I can get TOT anyway where I am, in a small village outside town that seems to only have TTT.

Maybe we should do a survey?!?

Good idea, I have turned this thread into a poll, for the most popular way to connect to the internet in Nong Khai.

Cool! Can you do a multi-part survey on the forum? Would be interesting to know other things like:

a) What's your avg. down speed?

b) Are you happy with your service?

c) Where do you live?

Etc.

Maybe later. Cheers, & Peace Out - Dude

All of the other polls you mention can be set up. but will need an individual thread for each one.

After road testing CAT for the past month, I have to say that there is a notable increase in reliability and stability. My thumb goes up for these guys as I seem to be able to do things that nigh on seemed impossible before.
