A long shot, but worth a try.

I am trying to find an old friend named Thananya Phanomai (or spelled Thananya / Tanania Phanomai / Panomai).

She would be about 30 and comes from Nong Kai (province) where her family have land and farm Rubber Tree and Oil Palms.

I believe she went to England about early 2007, but may have returned to either Nong Kai or Udon (her sister has a Beauty Parlour in Udon).

Any suggestions how I might make contact if she is in Nong Kai / Udon?

Her sister sounds like the best bet to me.
Do you have the name/ location of the shop & her name??
Otherwise I think it is a bit "needle in a haystack" unless you happen to be VERY lucky...

I am sure we all have wives/GF that spend far too much time in beauty parlours in Udon
If you can let us know which one, there is a good chance that one of them will know her sister.

Another first step clue might be her nickname,although I think you are looking for the needle in the haystack,you never know!

Get to try with more Thai folks and visit city municipal in both Nong Khai and Udonthani. I think chance is much better.
