Indeed, a highly reputed restaurant local to where I am currently living in Phuket, displays copies of a booklet "Where to eat in Phuket" and other booklets listing other restaurants besides their own.

I think they are being very short-sighted in Udon. Maybe a good idea if Forum members make a point of continually asking if such establishments (hotels and the airport information counter) have a copy of the magazine, then perhaps the proprieters and staff will get the idea!! ;) :D

We at Lek Car Rentals would be more than happy to give every new customer a copy of the magazine when we hand them the car keys over.

Not a single copy would be hidden or wasted and would definitely being put into the right hands benefiting all sponsors.....

I know Lee, but I really think the hotels in Udon Thani are not really geared up for mass tourism unlike Pattaya and Phuket. They are suffering a marketing by-pass. I don't think that would ever occur to them, that a guest picking up a magazine would book a few more nights if they were tempted to stay after reading your fine organ and guide.

I will ask the print shop if they can convert the next edition to pdf format. The current edition has been designed in Illustrator and Photoshop, with each page being a separate file. This makes it a little more compliated to complile an online book edition. The next will be knitted togther in pagemaker making the conversion to pdf more simpler.

You can buy a copy online of you don't mind paying the p&p, please contact us for more details.

Thanks.

Pop Pop's has new issue of Udon Thani Guide, and the Thai customers are liking it, since some of it is in Thai.

If you can't find a copy we always have them at our office in town, just ask one of the girls at reception. ;)
