Small rooms and good value. Close to everything, but no restaraunt or room service.

My drinking companions at Nobbi's restaurant say that Top Mansion has become quite popular with foreigners.

Plus - the beer at the Irish Clock is the chepest in town... Unless of course your heart is set on the German stuff.... Guiness, Kilenney and John Smith along with the local brews - Tiger on tap - 40 baht - by the bottle - 50 baht. The cheaper stuff is lower priced...

I stopped there in December, comfy and good value at 320 baht, shower en suite room basic. TV ok if you want to watch Thai TV. And to note it was very clean.

Best value in Udon, but alas very often full. Hit or miss. Don't expect to find any rooms on weekends, but midweek there's a fair chance.

A buddy and I stayed there good size room at a very good price. I'll be a returnee.
And walking distance to all the usual haunts.

I & T/W staied there last April great value , have er-booked for Sept.this year. Walk to Robertson & also Night Markets.
