I don't know what torrent search engine you are using, but in Mininova, the movie is showing 8000+ seeders (with 30+ active), and very quickly started downloading (in uTorrent) at around 100 kB/s.

I'm using Mininova Jack but I'm a bit of a newbie with it. I usually scan through the different languages looking for the first DvDRip[Eng] that I see that seems to have seeds. That's what I did with QOS but then it slowed up... Maybe all the seeds went to bed. :-s It has stopped now! Will just go back and get a better torrent link I suppose.

Alan a better idea is to click at the top of the "seeds" column, and see which torrent has the most seeders.

You can then determine which one you want to download, dependent on criteria such as language etc.

It is also a good idea to look at the comments tab, because some of the torrents may be rip-offs, bullsh1it, etc.

That is a good reason to shy away from trackers that don't have a "leave a comment facility" .
Viruses from torrents are rare but they do exist, I got one early this week, quite often they are a real pain to get rid of, defeating virus checkers etc.
This one had reconfigured my directory structure, so it was a matter of getting into the directory and manually repairing it.

All my recent downloads are AVI files that I can burn to DVD and have played just fine.

I now want to burn "Only Fools And Horses" Series 1-4 but it is an ISO file. If I burn an ISO file onto DVD will it play as normal?

Thank you.

If it's a DVD ISO, then yes.

An ISO file is basically a direct copy of a CD or DVD. If fact, you can even mount it like a disc on your computer and use it in the same way as any other disc.

Interesting MTD, I just bought a program from someone and it came as an Iso file. they never gave me a key to download it with so I had to search the net for a program to burn it with. Problem is it would'nt burn to my dvd. How can I as you suggest mount it like a disc on my computer ??

If you want a good laugh try Auf Weidesehen series 3, only for the English because no one else will understand the accents :D , but its top entertainment, the best of Brit comedy.

AA I also needed to burn an ISO to a CD - it was the UNIX operating system.
I downloaded the "Free Create-Burn ISO" program from this company.

Worked perfectly & very simple to use....
