It really sounds like your are looking for something guest friendly and more ''upscale''than what is offered in Udon!Plus the P4P girl scene might be less than what you are looking for! :?

excellent, thanks wazza. need to sign up accor ap, as sofitel used to be 1900, then 2100, then 2300 right before being sold, this rate thru sawadee, as their rate as sofitel club member was more. priced it a while after sold to accor, and came up w/2800 without breakfast. 2200 ish w/brekkie sound much better. great value for level of comfort.

to add to earlier, about renting motorbike for 50 baht a day, pic of place below, located on big c/prosi rd, 1st light past RR tracks heading out of town, on right. guessing it's a monthly rate, but one week at 200 a day is about the same, rent for a month, and if not using that long, just return early, still too cheap.

Sofitel and Pullman are both Accor hotels, so nothing was sold, just a category change within the Accor group.

No kidding, unless he is here mostly for peace and quiet. Plenty of that.
