PostAuthor: douglas » July 5, 2008, 2:40 pm

Hi,
Would like to wish any Manx people out in Thailand a happy Tynwald day 5 July. Oldest continuous running parliament in the world, 1,029 years and still going strong. I hve the flag flying and will enjoy a few scoops tonight with a BBQ.
Cheers Doug.

Hi,
Yes the Vikings invaded the Island in the 900's they set up the parliament then, there helemts did not have horns on, as the English portray them. Our cats have no tails, there backsides are clean and they do not have to hide them.
Cheers Doug.
PS Only place 8in the British Isles where you can see six Kingdoms. England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Mann and the kingdom of heaven.
Love the Island but the people that come over fron England are trying to change the way of life like they do when they go to any country.

Oh dear

Our comedy partnership is never going to work if you keep thinking you're the funny man. It only works when you do:

straight guy, no sense of humour, insult the little chap,

to my:

funny guy, slapstick, quick retorts and funny put downs.

Remember:

Your Tommy Cannon to my Bobby Ball.

One has to ask,

Why do cats have clean arses in the IOM?
Why do sheep in Wales wear Welly Boots?

How does a Manx cat wipe its bottom to keep it clean?

How do sheep in Wales get their boots on in the first place (or is there a kindly farmer to do that for them)? :-k

Moghrey mie,
West. put backside on grass hindlegs pointing to sky and propel itself forward using front legs. This is why there hindlegs are bigger than a normal cat so they can get a better balance. Rumpy to you. Gura mie ayd.
Beer the English where ever they go want you to conform to there culture, When i was young    years ago we did not have to lock houses or cars, also we had the birch which was very effective, but alas the English changed that along with many many other things. :( :( :(
Had to many scoops last night but enjoyed myself.
Cheers Doug.

THANKS, must of been the meds yesterday, the damn grass cutting is a killer. well, the sun is anyway. i'm lazy, but few hours to cut 1/2 rai :yikes:

though i did take Ree as long to wash the car, so it must be impeccably clean, though as we drive away, she realizes she didn't wipe down the inside front dash, hmm, think that would be the 1st thing.

Thanks, Douglas. I've just been trying it out in the back garden this morning but my West Indian neighbours have just come 'round to complain to the wife.
