Hi All
I see that sometimes you have forum meetings, are these open to anyone and is there any between the 21st Dec and the 2nd Jan as I'll be there then and would like to meet some people behind the profiles.

Hi Barry
We have a regular forum meet on the first Saturday of the month. We had December's meeting on the 3rd December and the next meeting is scheduled for the 7th January.

We have, in the past tried to have two meetings in one month but one got cancelled due to lack of interest and we have also tried moving meetings to an alternative date and that too caused problems and no end of confusion so it was decided to keep them all on schedule so that everyone knows when they will be.
I know you are not here on the 7th January - if you were you would be very welcome - its open to all.

The best thing I can suggest is that you pick a date when you are free and post it on here and invite other members to join you for a Christmas drink/get-together. I for one would come as I am sure would many others especially approaching Christmas.
Why not add a post below mine - choose a date and ask people to turn up if they can or want to.
We always want to meet forum members and would be like an unofficial extraordinary meeting.

I will go - providing the day doesn't clash with work (hence the reason we held meetings on Saturdays)

Regards

Paul :)

Paul, an "Extraordinary Xmas meeting" would be a good idea. I am sure there will be "extra" people in town over that period.

Actually I think this year is very quiet - for some reason. even the bar owners are saying that too - where is everyone this year?

if anyone wants to meet for a pre-Christmas drink - get typing - lets hear it?

Hi All
I'm not sure about organizing myself, I wouldn't know where to start.
The two Saturdays I'm there are Christmas Eve and New Years Eve which might be busy for some (they might be out drinking)!
Which is the place where these "tiger" girls are, and do you bring your own, or look at the tiger girls supplied.

The place is called the "night market' its not far from the railway station and you will see the big screen and stage. The beers are very cheap from 35bht a big bottle, Chang.Others available.
The real Tiger girls are waitresses there. I believe there is a "take away" available
Good Hunting :D

I gather it's the yellow star on the roundabout next to the station.
A take away would be nice, but my fiancee just wouldn't understand, so do you usually bring your wives/gf along or is it for the boys only?
I agree the Saturdays are probably out, but the 23rd would be ok for me, or as an option the next Friday.

either day is good with me 23/24 th, someone pick or start the voting. like val's idea or night market again. i'll vote for 24th, but doesn't matter.

i'll be hanging out there this saturday/tomorrow if anyone is around in the early evening or out and about. gf has party w/friends at mambos, which i have no interest in, hopefully she will arouse me from my sleep in wee hours after closing as i'll stay in town saturday. i'll be near the stage and # 20 vendor, 35 baht beers 8ish, if not earlier if i get hungry.

Hello! I arrived back in Udon a week ago. Will be staying till early Feb.
The 23rd works for me. I vote for bringing the wives/girlfriends along. I know mine would enjoy meeting some of the ladies. She says she is a "little bored" here, not having "friends" to talk with. I can't understand it, she's got me hasn't she?

Hi Paul, I wouldn't exactly call them a bag. More like a polystyrene container surrounded by an elastic band!!!
Friday 23rd great for me, 8.00ish then. Will bring the boss if anyone is worrying about their lady being alone.
