Well, I guess it's a sign of the times we live in (and my paranoia?) but my immediate thought about the problems with the site was someone had p***ed off the powers that be in Muang Thai and they pulled the plug. Glad to see everything is back up to normal.

That's always my first reaction as well (oops, we pis_ed somebody off) Thailand also
does seem to have unprecedented powers in blocking sites viewed as not favorable.
One small thing: The "clock" or timestamp on posts seems to be 12hrs off? Local time
is 02:00 hrs? but it's showing 14:00? I'm an insomniac but others must be overseas.
(I should say the timestamp under latest forum topics, to be more precise)

I just see time as 1 hour out. Says time is 1:22am but it is really 2:22am, can't see 14:00???

When viewing the home page, if you glance over at latest forum topics
the clock must be on a different setting. I see it's also yesterday's date
as well. don't know if everything on the site is geared to the same time
zone? What is Thailand gmt+7? all i know is that it's 2:30am here now.

The clock time is "server time" - which is situated somewhere in the USA - rather than Thai time... :D

Firefox have an add-on which will display the time and day for key locations in the bottom left corner of the bottom bar. :D

Currently it is 02.45 in the UK, 02.45 - GMT/UTC. 18.45 - US Pacific. 10.45 - Hong Kong.

You can change the forum time in your 'user control panel'. Click on ucp above and then click 'board preferences' and select the time-zone you're in. You can also enable DST.

Yes, your server is somewhere between east Tennessee and western New York state.
I'm betting all of 50 satang. I've been trying to customize my control panel but the only
language option is British English? Perhaps that was just an administrative oversight.

Any chance of finding out just where in between East Tennessee and Western New York State.
When we know, can someone tell the pidgeon, as it may speed the site up a bit.
135 secs to access the site ........ never less than 30 secs to return to the home page.
And yes .... before someone says it, I have deleted the cookies (at least 3 or 4 times since the new front page got installed).
