Got to agree, good win by the U.S.A.(Oh god, that hurt).

But, what a fantastic match, I don't think I have ever seen such consistently good short games played, by both teams!

Lee westwood got phone calls from so called fans wishing him good luck at 2-00 am and 4-00am and he stated in predd conference he was abused by the so called fans all the way round his match.
not sour grapes but i think the yanks overdid the celebrations specialy boo ridley or whatever his daft american name is.

I played golf with our golf group this morning... there were 13 of us present, only 4 Americans. I was warned earlier that there would be a poor showing because many were going to stay up and watch the final round. I must admit, there was a complete absence of talk about the results of the Ryder Cup during our morning coffee... at least until I brought it up that there seemed to be no 'trash' talking by the Euro's . We Americans truly enjoyed our golf today.

IMHO, This is the one golf tournament that is as much for the spectators as the golfers, if one looks at the general standard of play, then it is apparent that is what the golfers think too by the standard of play!

The so called overdid celebrations by the Americans, is only in keeping with that which happens when the Ryder Cup is held in Europe, long may it last, it makes the game far more enjoyable for spectators & golfers alike!
