I've been looking at the income into my UK bank and it does cover the 40k + per month over the last 6 months but this is not guaranteed as there could be a month whereby I don't get anything (i.e.done no work).
Do you know what Immigration need as proof of 40k per month? If its a bank statement then OK a definite can do, if its a letter from an employer or pension company then its a definite no-go....

Any ideas?

Not sure on the UK Embassy, but the american embassy will give a notized letter. But if I remember correctly, my friend in NK got something from the UK embassy. Might want to call them in BKK.

I am going to NK tomorrow for my annual one year visa extension. Is there anything else I need besides the following:
1. Passport.
2. Two photos.
3. Marriage certificate.
4. Medical certificate.
5. Bank book.
6. Letter from bank showing deposits of 40k+ baht/month for one year.
7. 2 copies of everything.
8. Wife's ID card and housebook.
Thank you in advance.

If your using the deposit method, you'll probably need affidavit from your embassy. Don't need medical certificate.
