Visa run requires airplane

PostAuthor: Techland » May 6, 2007, 4:45 pm

Hi,

did not read about this here before. According to www.clickthai.de from 1st July 2007 on the so called Visa runs will get much harder. They are only possible by plane then and require 24 hours of staying outside Thailand.

What type of visa?

Settlement or Retirement?
There have been rumours that something was going to happen regarding visas :?

Guys further to my last post, I have received a reply to the question from the Consulate in Hull UK as follows:-

Thank you for your message.

We are not aware of any such changes coming in to effect on 01 July 2007.
If and when we are informed of visa changes we will update our website.

I'm still waiting for AUA Manager to tell me how this will affect Laos people. He has been decidedly quiet lately!!

My GF still insists no change as far as they must exit every 30 days if arriving on a stamp on arrival!!!!
