VOA changes,effect on businesses

Similar happens in Udon Thani. Some businesses are searching more or less secretly new owners.

In 3 or 3 month time it will be very difficut to place even a good running business on the market.

Ah, if this is to be true, then perhaps the property / real estate prices will come back down to a realistic price. Right now I am amazed at the amount of money falangs are wanting for their so called businesses - which typcially are failing - but the falang think that it is worth millions.

Know of one place that is barely taking in 5,000 Baht a day that is asking something like 4.2 million. To top it off, the building is only leased, and not owned.

Maybe this VOA thing will give some folks here a touch of reality and common sense... But nah - being the cynic that I am, I'm not really going to hold my breath...

Yes hopefully land prices around the city of udon will come back to reallity, at the moment you can buy land in phuket, koh samui, cha am, hua hin, krabi. all with much better views and infrastructure and closer to the sea for the same price or less than the land in UDON.
