Roadman, how right you are. There are so many examples of these same traits here in oz[the land of milk and honey] that prove that Women react to there immediate situation in the only way that is avalable to them. Poverty produces the reaction necessarry to counter the problem, which in many ways means confrontation and or violence. In the Aboriginal community here the rate of violence is something as shameful as 1000% that of the greater population, because they live in remote areas and also have a much higher Alcohol problem than the rest of Society. This of course is not the only reason, there are many, but Women from every corner of the Globe who live in this country as Australians have simalar problems and reactions as each other. Thailand is not unique, just different because its Thailand!! I would venture to say that there would not be many of us who would swap places? Certainely not me...
