She was wearing 10 baht of gold around her neck, which is about 3 years average salary.

The same happens in every country, how far would you get in a place like manchester, leeds or sheffield with ฃ120,000 around your neck.

Don't get me wrong, this is a terrible thing that happened, i'm just saying people should take a little more care when thinking of going out wearing gold in this quantity.

My mother was dying in a hospital in America,she had about $400,000 worth of diamond jewelry,ugly& gaudy,it gave her great pleasure to wear it,coupled with Mink coat.She died in the hospital and all the jewelry was gone,they didn't take the mink(probably nature lovers ).I thought she looked ridiculous,but she was happy!I wouldn't judge her as stupid!Temptation ,especially for poorer people,is sometimes just to much for them to overcome when presented with,in their eyes,unbelievable wealth!

Have checked all local news sources and cannot find any mention of this.

did anyone read the follow up to the post on t/visa, also says some thing similar happen at the C/complex ?? around the same time.

As previously stated no record of either occurence on the news wires, nor in local police records.

Intersting, wonder if someone is trying to give our fair city a bad name. Hope so, it's crowded anyway Just kidding guys nice to see everyone working on rumor contriol. A nasty critter at best.
